My Top 3 Pixi Beauty Skincare Products
There isn’t a day that goes by without me using at least one Pixi skincare product. As I mentioned in this post, I adore their products. Many of them are vegan and they’re an affordable, high end quality brand with a mid-range price tag. It doesn’t get much better than that!
Glow Tonic
If there’s one word that I would associate with Pixi, it’s glow. So it should come as no surprise that one of the first products I ever tried from the brand was their iconic; Glow Tonic. Believe the hype, it’s true what they say – this product is amazing and I couldn’t be without it! It has been a staple in my routine for around 4 or 5 years now and I’ve been through numerous bottles of the stuff!
Gone are the days of a physical exfoliant, it’s all about gentler, chemical exfoliants these days. I’m sure I’m not the only one who remembers that awful St. Ives apricot scrub from the 90s and early 00s!?
Glow tonic is formulated with 5% Glycolic Acid, so it’s gentle enough to be used on a daily basis, yet effective enough to keep congestion at bay. With daily use every evening, my skin feels soft and smooth with refined pores and a brighter appearance.
If you want to dip your toes into Pixi skincare, I highly recommend you start with this one. I’m certain you will love it!
Glow Mud Mask
I often find mud and clay masks to be quite drying on the skin, but this Pixi one actually surprised me! It feels hydrating on the skin and doesn’t require the upper body strength other mud masks require to remove it, which my skin thanks me for!
I apply a layer over cleansed skin and leave it on for around 15-20 minutes. I remove it with a damp face towel and my skin feels deeply cleansed and looks glowy! I love using this when my skin looks and feels congested to keep blemishes at bay!
Vitamin C Serum
I often find that my skin is quite sensitive to vitamin C however I love the brightening effect of this serum. I use it every morning, along with the lotion after I’ve cleaned my skin and before I apply make-up.
It helps to uneven skin tone and firm the skin, but it’s particularly useful if you have any hyperpigmentation. This is music to my ears, as I’m aware that Asian skin is more prone to dark spots and hyperpigmentation due to the increased amount of melanin in our skin.
I also love the faint lemon/citrussy scent it has!
There are many more Pixi skincare products that I love, but these are my top 3 currently. I’d love to know what yours are?
